The “Executive Protocol” workshop, featuring a speech by Ahmad Yahyaei Eleh’i and attended by public and private sector public relations managers and company CEOs, was organized by the East Azerbaijan Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines, and Agriculture in collaboration with the East Azerbaijan Public Relations Association (the local representative of the Public Relations Society of Iran). The event was held at the Tabriz Chamber of Commerce.
This training course covered a variety of topics, including the protocol management triangle, the golden rule of protocol, personal protocol principles, body language etiquette, verbal communication protocol (public speaking), dining and hosting etiquette, formal event participation etiquette, and protocol for meetings and negotiations.
During the workshop, Ahmad Yahyaei Eleh’i emphasized the importance of verbal and non-verbal communication and its impact on professional success. He stated, “Protocol, as one of the tools of strategic management, holds special importance.” He added, “Non-verbal communication is more effective than verbal communication, and being aware of these points can greatly enhance personal and professional relationships.”
Yahyaei highlighted that the three key skills for individuals are communication skills, opportunity recognition, and decision-making skills, and continued, “No one has difficulty in communicating, but the key factor is how to establish positive communication, which is the aim of this workshop.”
Following this, Reza Jafari, a member of the Tabriz Chamber of Commerce board, emphasized the importance of proper organizational behavior and expressed the chamber’s readiness to host more educational workshops on this subject. He stated, “Education is the foundation of development, and the Tabriz Chamber of Commerce is committed to fulfilling its social responsibilities by providing specialized training in various fields for the province’s economic players.”
At the end of the event, Sasan Nikraftar Khiabani, the public relations manager of the Chamber of Commerce, was honored for his close collaboration with the association. A plaque, signed by Khosrow Rafiei, President of the Public Relations Society of Iran, was presented to him in recognition of his efforts.
